Travel

Seisia (Cape York) is situated approximately 1000km away from Cairns. Flights are available from Cairns to Bamaga direct with Regional Express and Regional Pacific. There are also flights available from Cairns to Horn Island. However, this will include an additional ferry charge from Thursday Island to Seisia, with a possibility of an overnight stay at Thursday Island. This depends on your arrival and departure flight schedules. If possible flying direct to Bamaga is far more convenient all round.
